P90X Results Day 6 – Kenpo X
Today has been an odd day. Why? The first 2 days of P90X I was losing weight, then I started gaining weight. Why? Well, I think I figured it out. I was taking a protein shake and a creatine shake at night. After I did, I felt pretty full, figured it was all of the liquid. I happened to check the creatine shakes numbers. There it was, 46 grams of carbohydrates. So, I nixed the shake this evening. Can’t wait to see what the morning will bring. Still hard to maintain the number of calories especially with meetings at staggered times of the day.
What I felt tonight was a little different though. I was able to make it through the entire workout. Sweated a ton, but, did it and felt good. So, things are definitely changing in my body. Another thing, my flexibility has increased exponentially. I can easily stretch at least several inches further than I have in years. So, between the yoga and other exercises, it’s helping a lot. I can also feel more control in my core. I know it sounds weird, but I feel like I have more control over my legs and arms. Instead of my legs and arms driving my movements, I feel like my core torso is. I know sounds weird.
Anyway, loved the Kenpo. Had several moves I learned in kickboxing and muai thai. Felt pretty comfortable here, probably the reason why I made it through this workout. Still had some awkward moments with the back kicks, but it worked. I felt good and fast.
So, if you’re looking to feel good as well, buy P90X. It’s definitely worth it.
