Day 1 – Starting over
Ok, I’m starting over again. I went for about 2 weeks, then hurt my wrist. It wasn’t because of P90X, it was because of an old injury. For some reason, I can pop my wrist out it’s joints so that I can’t even turn a door know. I think it was caused by doing the chicken wing stretch and I pulled on my hand instead of forearm to stretch. Anyway, I’m back.
I started back again. I forgot how hard the workouts are. And, I know tomorrow’s plyometrics is going to crush me. Tonight’s chest and back was tough. I couldn’t do the same amount of reps I did the second week. In some cases, I couldn’t even do what I did the first week I started. But, I’m back in the game.
I did add one twist. During the ab ripper x workout, I am now pausing during the sets. In each set we’re supposed to do 25 reps. I can’t always do 25 reps, so I’ll pause it at my max, then work until I get the 25, then continue on. It’s not as fast, but I get the 25 reps in each set.
